Lexington KY (May 29, 2014) – Life just keeps getting grander for Caroline Roffman, 25, of Lionshare Dressage in Wellington, FL. There was riding Her Highness O to 2013 USDF Intermediare I Horse of the Year honors, and joking last July that she could “die happy,” after a personal congratulation from Isabel Werth following her first CDI Grand Prix Freestyle in Germany.

AACHEN, Germany, June 29–Caroline Roffman (Wellington, FL) and Sagacious HF performed a wonderful Grand Prix U25 Freestyle for the Preis der Liselott und Klaus Rheinberger Stiftung class. The pair did a daring compilation of movements timed well to their music, especially the piaffe and passage. With Hyperion Farm, Inc.’s 14-year-old Royal Dutch Warmblood gelding, Roffman executed two tempi flying changes around the corners and along the short sides of the arena, as well as one-handed two tempi flying changes on the centerline. WELLINGTON, (JRPR) – Dressage rider and trainer Caroline Roffman of Lionshare Dressage, and her beautiful black mare, Her Highness O, dominated during the Wellington Classic Dressage Challenge I, taking firsts in both the FEI Prix St Georges Open under judge Gary Rockwell and FEI Intermediare 1, judged by Natalie Lamping. Roffman and Her Highness scored a 72.368% to win the Prix St Georges and then the following day enjoyed a decisive win in the Intermediare 1 with a score of 74.211%. Now, she has taken over the ride on Sagacious (Welt Hit II x Judith x Cocktail), the 13-year-old KWPN gelding that at the small tour Pan American Games in 2007 won team gold and individual silver. Caroline, coached by Florida-based Danish Olympian Lars Petersen, is scoring well into the 70 per cent range at national Young Rider Grand Prix with Sagacious and one of her goals is to compete in the Under-25 competition at the World Equestrian Festival in Aachen, Germany, the pinnacle of the sport. It’s not often that a dressage rider gets to forge a relationship with a fully trained Grand Prix horse, but Caroline Roffman’s new partner knows all the tricks. She and Sagacious HF made waves at the Dressage at Holiday and Horses in Wellington, Fla. They scored a 73.16 percent in the Young Rider Grand Prix on Dec. 1, and a 71.63 percent in the same test the next day to win both classes. [read more]

Congratulations Taunia Reed, Diane Nauman, & Shooting Starts Dressage horses.  Highest score in the USA, an 86.4% in the FEI 6-year-olds for Folcano, a Lionshare Dressage sales horse.  San Dante, also a Lionshare sales horse, received a qualifying score of 80.2% in the FEI 5-year-olds.  Another talented sales horse Agastrofos received a qualifying score in the developing horse Grand Prix.

Lionshare Dressage features a beautiful, newly constructed 26-stall barn with all of the amenities, located in prestigious Palm Beach Point. This state of the art facility features a full size, mirrored dressage arena with rubber footing by Premier Equestrian, a round pen with felt fiber footing, and lush turnouts.
